VIP “Perspective” has received an award “For contribution in development of industrial parks”

During the First National Conference “Industrial Projects Funding” which was held on July 26, 2012, the solemn ceremony of giving a joint award called “For contribution in development of industrial parks” by the Association of Industrial Parks and Sberbank of Russia was held. Voronezh Industrial Park “Perspective” received the award from Chairman of the Board of the Association of Industrial Parks, Mr. Maxim Ivanov, and Vice-President of Sberbank of Russia, Mr. Vyacheslav Arutyunyan.

Maxim Ivanov, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Industrial Parks, summarized the results of development of industrial parks and spoke about the milestones passed by the sector’s players in the last few years.

Yuri Yablokov, President of the Association of Industrial Parks, appeared at the conference with a presentation devoted to the topic of “Russian industrial parks: state, problems, perspectives”. In Mr. Yablokov’s opinion, industrial parks need strong state support; special credit lines need to be offered to them supported by institutional banks in order to satisfy the needs of managing companies of industrial parks. For this very reason the Association of Industrial Parks and Sberbank of Russia have already started joint activities to develop a set of specialized banking products for industrial parks as well as methods of assessment of industrial projects.

Within the framework of the program “New Industrialization” Sberbank intends to fund 30 projects for creation of industrial parks for the total amount of 100 billion rubles by 2014. At the moment the bank is developing special products for both managing companies and residents of industrial parks. Apart from that, Sberbank intends to offer a complex replicable solution – a standard industrial park – and use its client base to attract residents to the sites created with Sberbank’s involvement.

“Currently, industrial parks are centers of most favorable investment conditions and economic production growth in Russia”, stressed Andrei Donskikh, Deputy CEO of Sberbank of Russia. “By 2014, Sberbank is planning to become a leader for creation of industrial parks in our country. Sberbank intends to act as the motive power for ‘New Industrialization’ and tot offer not only modern financial products to the market, but also non-financial services which would permit significantly increasing competitiveness of Russian companies”.
